Giving to the Avondale Counselling Clinic helps senior students offer a low-cost, community-based mental health service. Your donation will subsidise operating expenses as the clinic begins developing an income stream. Ensuring the viability of the clinic gives final-year Bachelor of Arts students studying a specialisation in counselling the best opportunity to complete one of their internships in the community. This will partially address the inverse correlation between socio-economic status and measures of mental health. The clinic needs a budget of $10,000 to begin operating.
