Goals
Assist in employing women ministry and theology graduates in the Seventh-day Adventist Church in the South Pacific.
Women in Ministry raises money, offer support to conferences of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in the South Pacific in hiring women pastors and raises awareness of the value women pastors bring to Adventist ministry.
Support women pastors in their professional and spiritual life.
Women in Ministry funded and organised a conference in 2013 for Seventh-day Adventist women pastors in Papua New Guinea and co-funded and co-organised with Avondale University a celebration in 2015 of the role of women in ministry.
Cooperate with leaders at every level of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in the South Pacific so they understand Women in Ministry is supportive of the mission of the church.
Leaders of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in the South Pacific support Women in Ministry.
Fund the addition of women lecturers to the School of Theology at Avondale University.
Women in Ministry funded the employment of Dr Drene Somasundram and Dr Kendra Haloviak Valentine and, in a cooperative partnership with Avondale University and the Seventh-day Adventist Church in the South Pacific, sponsored the doctoral study of Dr Wendy Jackson to expand the diversity of the discipline and to offer a ministry role model to students.
