David Low is a lecturer in the Outdoor Recreation Department with a wealth of knowlege in the areas of canoeing/kayaking/sea kayaking, bushwalking, abseiling, and cross country skiing and with 7 years of experience teaching Outdoor Recreation in secondary schools across Australia.
David holds a White water and Sea kayak Instructors (Australian Canoeing), Abseiling Guide (Professional Association of Climbing Instructors), Nordic Instructors (Australian Professional Snowsport Instructors).

Run by the Outdoor Recreation Department at Avondale College, Avondale Outdoors has dozens of qualified previous students it can draw on to help run programs. We also use current students as staff, as many of these students have existing qualifications. This allows us to reach supervision ratios easily and to meet the age and gender requirements of our clients.
