Corporate Sponsors

Corporate Sponsors are members of the community who sponsor awards, give donations and/or other support to Avondale College of Higher Education. They are recognised and appreciated by Avondale in that they provide study and other opportunities for students, ongoing financial support, support for community events, and another means of continually nurturing and encouraging our students by awarding their skills and endeavours.

Adventist World Radio (AWR)

AWR spreads the gospel to people who are difficult to reach politically, culturally, and/or geographically. In support of this and of Avondale, AWR sponsor an Award of Excellence in Radio and Public Relations to a student currently studying Communication at College.

Australian Council for Health, Physical Education and Recreation (ACHPER)

ACHPER is a membership based non-profit organisation that uses funds to further educational projects. It endorses a healthy lifestyle in many ways, including sponsoring a Tertiary Student Health and PE Award that gives an Avondale student free membership with them for 12 months.

Australian Union Conference

(AUC)
The AUC supports the development and ministry of teaching by sponsoring a Bachelor of Education (Secondary) Award of Excellence.

Cooranbong Pharmacy

Cooranbong Pharmacy encourages the pursuit and benefits of science by sponsoring the Bachelor of Science Award of Excellence.

Hunter Technology Education Association (HTEA)

The HTEA sponors an Excellence Award in Home Economics/Design &Technology Education.

Lanier

Lanier is apart of the largest manufacturer of office automation systems for document and print management solutions. As the preferred supplier for Avondale we provide document management solutions to create the best work-flow environment for the students and staff. Through our sponsorship of the golf training nets we aim to facilitate the growth and development of the future leaders at Avondale.

Legal Consult

Legal Consult provides legal and other professional services to their clients, particularly within the telecommunications and IT areas. As part of the College Council, Legal Consult has always been a supporter of Avondale.

Mountain Designs

Mountain Designs is a provider of any equipment needed for outdoor recreation activities. They support the pursuit of outdoor recreation by sponsoring Awards of Excellence, given to two of Avondale's outstanding outdoor recreation students.

New Zealand Pacific Union Conference (NZPUC)

The NZPUC wishes to encourage students preparing for the teaching ministry by providing financial assistance to students studying teaching at Avondale. For this reason, NZPUC not only provides a scholarship for such students, but also a Bachelor of Education (Primary) Award of Excellence.

Primary English Teaching Association (PETA)

PETA places an importance on teaching literacy to primary students. It provides support and resources from which to better teach language. As a result, PETA is dedicated to rewarding primary teachers, shown in their sponsorship of the Primary English Teaching Association Award of Excellence in Primary English, which allows a primary education student at Avondale to have free membership with PETA for 12 months.

Professional Advantage

Professional Advantage works with Avondale in providing and implementing a Microsoft CRM.

Sanitarium Health Food Company

Sanitarium has produced quality health and vegetarian foods for over 100 years, basing the company on integrity, advanced research and respect for the customer. It sponsors three awards of excellence given to those studying business. Sanitarium also supports Avondale by sponsoring breakfasts for events like Homecoming, which ensures that people who come to Avondale have the best experience possible.

Signs Publishing

Signs Publishing, a part of the Adventist Media Network, is Avondale's key printing supplier. While working together to ensure only quality material is distributed, Signs Publishing also supports Avondale by sponsoring an Award of Excellence in Journalism.

South Pacifc Division (SPD)

The SPD of the Seventh-day Adventist Church has a mission of sharing the hope of Jesus Christ. In order to support this mission as well as leaders and pastors in training, the SPD sponsors the Bill Marr Institute of Public Evangelism Award of Excellence.
