It does not guarantee those on the list will complete all requirements, as this will be confirmed later. Contact Donna Saville in the Academic Office if your name is not on the list and you think you should be graduating this year.

AUSTRALIAN RED CROSS BLOOD SERVICE
WEDNESDAY, APRIL 2
The Australian Red Cross Blood Service will visit Avondale College's Lake Macquarie campus on Wednesday, April 2. The service's Mobile Donor Centre will be located behind Watson Hall from 10 am to 3 pm.
To make your experience more comfortable:
. Eat something substantial before donating. This might include cereal and toast for breakfast or a sandwich at lunch. The blood service advises against donating on an empty stomach.
. Drink three to four glasses of: water; fruit juice; or milk before donating to ensure your body has plenty of fluid. This helps the blood flow.
. Bring some identification. The identification provided must include three separate identifiers (eg. name, date of birth, address, signature, photograph if possible).
Only those aged 16-70 and weighing at least 45 kilograms can donate. Please do not donate if you: are taking antibiotics; have a cold or the flu; have visited the dentist recently; or have had tummy upset in the past week or so.
Donating blood is easy and can save the lives of up to three people.
Check your timetable for a time that does not clash with your classes before registering at Student Services.

MEET THE MUSIC
WEDNESDAY, APRIL 2
Features: Richard Gill (conductor); William Barton (didgeridoo); Andrew Ford (presenter).
Music: Weber, Der Freischutz overture; Schumann, Symphony no. 4 in D-minor, op. 120; Barton and Hindson, New work
Matthew Hindson, one of the most sought-after Australian composers of his generation, meets Australia's leading didgeridoo virtuoso, William Barton. With an electric style that blends pop art and high-art, Hindson's work blurs the lines between rock concert and concert hall. Composed in collaboration with Barton, this genre-defying new work is sure to raise the roof. Weber sets the scene for the gothic tale, Der Freischutz, with an eerily brooding overture whose fantastical atmosphere conjures up the haunted forests of Germany. Schumann brought the sense of fantasy and improvisational spontaneity he honed in his piano works to his fourth symphony. A master of composition, each new musical idea grows naturally out of the last as the symphony gathers irresistible momentum for a thrilling finale.
