CITIZEN OF THE YEAR
Do you know someone who is a tireless supporter of or a great volunteer in our community? Southlake Community Services is seeking nominations for Citizen of the Year. The first recipient of the award, Peter Gambrill, volunteered in the community for more than 20 years. He received a medallion and an afternoon tea in his honour with some of his colleagues giving testimonials. Many organisations in our community would not function without people such as Peter. Recognise the Peter in your organisation by contacting Southlake Community Services. Nominations close at the end of April. The award will be presented to the recipient at an afternoon tea at the Morisset Multi-purpose Centre on Wednesday, May 14.
