POSITIONS VACANT
Assistant clinical coordinator, Faculty of Nursing
Avondale College seeks to appoint a registered nurse (30 hours per week; days per week negotiable) to work under the direction of the clinical coordinator. The role is to assist with all aspects of the clinical experience arrangements for students undertaking the Bachelor of Nursing degree and includes contacting venues where clinical experience placements are planned, preparation of rosters and documents for clinical experience students and clinical facilitators, and maintaining records of student experiences.
This position requires an understanding of nursing environments in New South Wales and excellent communication and organisational skills, sound computing abilities with programs such as Microsoft Word and Outlook and, ideally, familiarity in using Microsoft Excel to manage the records database. A customer service ethic applied to regular contact with higher education students and clinical experience partners is essential as this is an important aspect of the faculty program.
