The latest exhibition in the Joanne Felk Gallery has opened successfully, with the artist, Avondale College alumnus Daniel Atkins, presenting a series of illustrations inspired by the intricacies of the natural world.

Executed with a variety of mediums, but mostly with watercolour or pen and ink, these works of art showcase the artist's keen observation skills and steady hand.

Daniel said he regards himself as an "ambassador for science" and his work as a means of communicating accurate scientific information without the barrier of technical language.
