Dr Robb Dennis, a senior lecturer in the Faculty of Arts at Avondale College, sings at the dawn service in Morisset on ANZAC Day (Monday, April 25). The Avondale Brass Band also played. Later, drum major and dean of the Faculty of Science and Mathematics Dr Lynden Rogers would lead the band and the marchers from the railway station back down Dora Street to the country club for the memorial service. The band accompanied Robb during the service as he led the singing of the Australian national anthem and of several hymns.
