Aluminium cans, cigarette butts and glass and plastic bottles.

OPEAK NURSING BODY OFFERS FREE MEMBERSHIP TO STUDENTS
The Royal College of Nursing, Australia (RCNA) is offering free membership to students as part of the organisation's strategy to engage with nurses from the beginning of their careers. "Politically, this is an exciting time to be a member of the peak professional body, as nursing is so well represented and regarded in the current government health reform agenda," says chief executive officer Debra Cerasa. Dr Stephanie Fox-Young, president of the board of RCNA, says the initiative is a way of investing in the profession. "The federal government has labelled the nursing education sector as a national priority. This means we need to ensure nursing students who are beginning their studies are well supported and informed." The offer is available to first- and second-year undergraduate nursing degree students and first-year diploma students.
