The Avondale Student and Faculty Association announced its new officers for 2008 during assembly today (October 30).

Imogen Menzies, a second-year Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Business student majoring in communication and marketing, is the new president. She has served as a columnist for the student magazine, The voice, this year and is a former member of the ACTS II drama club and of the Student Activities Committee. "I have an open mind, I am eager to listen and I am willing to explore things honestly," she says. "Truth is important to me."
The members of Imogen's team are:

Chris Starrett, Krysten Rowe and Shona Clarke, residential councillors
Jenaya Rowe, day student councillors

Candace Macrae and Jared Martin will serve as the head residence assistants next year. They lead the following teams:

Under the terms of a new constitution, Avondale Nursing Student Association officers will continue serving until second semester 2008, unless the officers graduate.
