Description
Mammalogy provides foundational knowledge of taxonomy reproduction ecology behaviour social structure and conservation in a mammalian context. Emphasis is placed on Australian mammals especially marsupials. The subject engages students in relevant fieldwork laboratory sessions and scientific research techniques to prepare participants for employment in private or public organisations or to undertake further study at a postgraduate level.
