Description


A study of Clinical Biochemistry ranging from introductory concepts (eg spectrophotometry instrumentation SI units) to significant coverage of liver function renal function carbohydrates lipids plasma proteins non-protein nitrogen and enzymology from a clinical and laboratory perspective. Practical sessions will concentrate on familiarisation with laboratory practice and the case study approach. (Even years)
