CE110 :: INTEGRATED & EMERGENT CURRIC. SCIENCE & TECH

Description

This subject will present the early childhood curriculum as an Integrated and Emergent Curriculum. There will however be a special focus on the theory and practice of early childhood Science and Technology. The impact of developmental stages (0–2 3–5 and 5–8 year olds) on learning in this subject will be emphasised and applied during in-semester teaching and observations. Teaching and evaluation strategies will be discussed to enable students to plan individual and group Science and Technology experiences.
