CE220 :: INTEGRATED AND EMERGENT CURRIC. - THE ARTS II



Description


This subject will present the early childhood curriculum as an Integrated and Emergent Curriculum. However there will be a special focus on the theory and practice of young childrens artistic and aesthetic development in Visual Arts and Drama. This subject will identify strategies for developing and enhancing artistic development and the role of adults in this process. The impact of developmental stages (0–2 3–5 and 5–8 year olds) on learning in this subject will be emphasised and applied during in-semester teaching and observations.
