CE230 :: INTEGRATED & EMERGENT CURRIC. - MULTIPLE LITERACIES



Description


This subject will present the early childhood curriculum as an Integrated and Emergent Curriculum. However there will be a special focus on the theory and practice associated with the development of 0–2 3–5 and 5–8 year olds language literature and literacy development across the developmental stages. It will incorporate a critical evaluation from the Christian worldview of a range of childrens literature. Teaching and evaluation strategies will be discussed to enable students to plan individual and group literacy experiences.
