CH161 :: CHEMISTRY IB



Description


One third of this subject is devoted to physical chemistry and two thirds to organic chemistry. The emphasis in physical chemistry is on thermodynamics and colligative properties of liquids and in organic chemistry the emphasis is given to the chemistry of simple aliphatic and aromatic compounds with an orientation toward synthesis reaction mechanisms and spectroscopy. An introduction to biological compounds.
