CH363 :: ORGANIC CHEMISTRY IIIB



Description


This subject deals with the structure synthesis and stereochemistry of alicyclic compounds and the mechanisms of a variety of molecular rearrangement reactions. The interface of chemistry with biology is explored in a module on nucleic acids particularly dealing with chemical and photochemical changes and also in a module on the physical chemistry of macromolecules. A literature search on a selected chemistry topic is to be carried out.
