CH390 :: SEMINAR IN CHEMISTRY



Description


This subject is designed to give the student the opportunity to research an area of chemistry in depth under supervision.

The student should recognise that he/she will need to be self-motivated organised and willing to research into topics under his/her own initiative. Whilst adequate staff supervision and guidance will be important to student success the student will need to take responsibility for the development and completion of the task within the time frame allocated. Independent work is encouraged but regular liaison with the supervisor(s) for guidance and for updates on progress is also required. The topic for investigation will be selected in consultation with the supervising lecturer.
