CR304 :: ETHICS AND PROFESSIONAL ACCOUNTABILITY
Description
This subject explores ethical issues faced by nurses and health workers with a focus on assisting students to develop an understanding of ethical principles and approaches used in moral decision making and to consolidate their individual stance on ethical issues. Ethical problems are examined from various perspectives with particular emphasis being given to Christian principles which guide moral decisions. Legislation and professional accountability in relation to ethical issues is also outlined.
