CY265 :: EARLY AND MEDIEVAL CHURCH



Description


This subject consists of a study of the history of the Christian church from the Council of Jerusalem through the medieval period. Emphasis is placed on the ethical doctrinal and ecclesiological issues that confronted the early church and led to the development of an institutional orthodoxy in the West. In addition students will examine some of the major themes of medieval church history.
