ED135 :: CHILD DEVELOPMENT I



Description


This subject will assist the students to gain knowledge of healthy development and supportive relationships in a Christian context. Students will study the holistic nature of child development and learning through an introduction to the perspectives of different theorists. A major section of this subject will investigate classical and contemporary theories of play. It will also investigate issues of culture power and gender in play. Students will experiment with observation methods of recording childrens learning and play as a means to developing a child profile.
