Description


This subject deals with schools as a multicultural community. Exposure to different cultures the issues and implications of diversity tolerance prejudice and racism will be explored in the context of a Christian classroom. Aboriginal and Maori culture will be studied and associated issues in education relating to indigenous Australians will be explored. The methods of and approaches to teaching English as a Second Language will also be examined.
