ED374 :: PLANNING, ASSESSMENT AND EVALUATION

Description

This subject will investigate the principles of the planning assessment and reporting cycle in the early childhood setting (0–2 3–5 and 5–8). It will explore the nature of early childhood experiences and how these should be taken into consideration when planning. Assessment and reporting in general will be explored and the process for assessing and reporting in specific areas will be discussed. Planning for the childrens transition to school will also be covered. This planning will be applied during the Extended Professional Experience.
