Description

This subject introduces the student to the concept of the teacher as an ethical reflective analytical thinker time manager and facilitator of childrens learning who is able to meet the needs of individual children. Students will learn how to create lesson plans for play experiences. They will observe and evaluate childrens play (0–2 3–5 and 5–8 year olds). They will plan and set up the environment and materials for individual and small group experiences. The students will also become conversant with protocols in early childhood settings.
