NR208 :: PROMOTING HOLISTIC HEALTH
Description
This subject provides the student with the skills and strategies of health promotion management for individuals using the bio-psychosocial approach to health and wellness. This subject provides an understanding of the disease and wellness process and its effect on the individual as this is foundational to the knowledge and understanding required to promote health in the community. It also introduces contemporary complementary therapies as adjunct to optimal health and well-being.
