Description


This subject explores the current nature purposes and characteristics of educational assessment broadly in the Australian setting and more particularly with reference to the NSW Primary Education Sector. Theoretical perspectives are linked to practical usage in educational environments. This subject also encourages beginning teachers to examine and develop their philosophy and skills in teaching practice with particular reference to classroom management. A two-week professional experience session will be incorporated in this subject.
