Course structure



After completing the first two years of the BEd (Primary) course students may gain entry into the Honours program based on academic performance. The regular program is modified as illustrated below. Honours subjects, which are shown in bold, replace the following subjects in the regular program:

Semester 5:


ED420 :: Research Methods I replaces ED206 :: Computers, Learning and Curriculum Theory

Semester 6:


ED421 :: Research Methods II replaces a Discipline elective.

Semester 7:


ED422 :: Research Project IA replaces a Discipline elective.

Semester 8:


ED423 :: Research Project IB replaces the ED300 :: Individual Differences & the Atypical Child elective.
