Bachelor of Teaching (Secondary)
The Bachelor of Teaching (Secondary) is a graduate-entry bachelor degree designed to prepare students to teach at the secondary level. Graduates are qualified to teach in the Seventh-day Adventist school system both in Australia and overseas, as well as in the wider educational sector of government and non-government schools.

Entry requirements
Entry into the BTch (Secondary) degree requires a suitable undergraduate degree that meets the teaching requirements of the NSW Department of Education and Training for secondary teaching. It is the responsibility of students to confirm with the NSW Department of Education and Training that their undergraduate program meets these requirements. Course structure
The Bachelor of Teaching (Secondary) is a two-year, graduate entry course of 96 credit points. It is structured to include, with slight variations, the Bachelor of Teaching components of the undergraduate Bachelor of (Arts/Bus/Sc)/Bachelor of Teaching double degree programs. The course requirements include 70 days of professional experience, which occurs between semesters, in February and July of each year, and five days in-semester during the first year of the course. The course is comprised of Christian Studies subjects, curriculum studies, education subjects, and professional development and experience.
