Avondale's Bachelor of Education (Primary) degree is a dynamic and highly practical course with 'hands-on' classroom experience from the first semester of the course. Graduate students can feel equipped to teach in a classroom setting and are inspired to be responsible and positive Christian role models.

English Language Proficiency Requirement for Teachers in NSW International students require an International English Language Test Score (IELTS) of at least 8.0 for speaking and listening prior to being employed as graduate teachers in New South Wales.
The Bachelor of Education (Primary) (Upgrade) is designed to assist teachers who currently have a Diploma in Teaching (Primary) to gain a Bachelors Degree. The upgrade program comprises of eight units of which a measure of advanced standing may be awarded if the teacher can demonstrate ongoing teaching experience. The units are all available in distance mode making it very practical for teachers in the field to upgrade their qualifications from anywhere in Australia.
