Courses Offered
Avondale's Faculty of Arts is a very progressive faculty offering a high quality Bachelor of Arts degree.
The faculty offers majors in English, Geography, History, International Development, Communication and Music. Arts degree majors are also offered by several other faculties and include Visual Arts, Mathematics, Biblical Studies, and Religious Studies.

Faculty Facilities
Media Centre
3t Media, the media production and training unit of Avondale, is located in the lower floor of the Library. The facility features the latest in fully digital audio and video studios with production equipment including TASCAM and Soundcraft digital mixers, Genelec, BOSE and Spirit monitors and a large range of microphones and processing equipment.
Our video edit suite includes a number of stations employing the latest software and digital cameras. Students are able to fully utilise and train in all aspects of production, and the centre employs a number of students to facilitate commercial projects for various clients and broadcasters.
From video and CD production, to radio and TV programming, 3t Media at Avondale provides complete media production facilities and training, all in a positive Christian environment.
Avondale Chamber Orchestra
The Chamber Orchestra is conducted by Robb Dennis and rehearsals are held on Monday nights 6:30pm - 7:30pm. New members are welcome.
Requirements
Players of stringed instruments to Grade 6 AMEB or equivalent standard
An audition may be required
Good ensemble skills
Dedication and commitment to ensemble

Avondale Singers
The Avondale Singers are conducted by Robb Dennis and rehearsals are held on Monday nights 7:30pm - 9:00pm in the Music Hall.
Requirements
A good singer or be prepared to learn music
An audition may be required
Have good ensemble skills
Be dedicated and committed to ensemble

Avondale Wind Orchestra
The Avondale Wind Orchestra is conducted by Sharon Tolhurst and rehearsals are held on Tuesday nights 7:15pm - 8:30pm in the Orchestral Rehearsal Room.
Requirements
Play a wind, brass or percussion instrument to Grade 5 AMEB standard
Good ensemble skills
An audition may be required
Dedication and commitment to ensemble
Hired instruments are available on request
