Watagan Brass Quintet, established in 2009, is the newest ensemble at Avondale College. Its repertoire includes classical standards, hymns and spirituals gleaned from brass quintet literature from around the world. The members are drawn together by their love of small ensemble brass playing and a tight-knit sound. Three are from the same family and have played actively in Waratah Brass for many years.
