How to Apply

Step 1 - Choose Your Course of study

Step 2 - Apply for study


Step 3 - Certify all supporting documents

This can be carried out by a professional person such as a Justice of the Peace, Accountant, Bank Manager, Minister/Clergy, Barrister, Police Officer or School Principal.

The certification should include a statement such as: "This is a true copy of the original document sighted by me" and include the name and address, contact phone number, profession or occupation of the person who certifies the documentation and date signed.

Step 4 - Submit your completed application

  • Online through Applicant Portal – remember to hit the ‘Submit Application’ button

  • Scan all documents and Email to: study@avondale.edu.au
  • Visit our Admissions Office (Lake Macquarie Campus only) at:

    Monday-Thursday, 9.00am-5pm
    Friday, 9:00am-12.00pm

Step 5 - Communicate with the Admissions Team

As soon as Admissions receives your completed application, one of our experienced and friendly Application Processing Officers will follow-up with an acknowledgement email or phone call within 48-business hours.

We endeavor to process all applications within a period of 5-business days. In some instances, an application may take longer either during peak admission period or if further information is required.

Undergraduate Courses

Domestic Students

If you are an Australian School leaver applying for study at Avondale College of Higher Education you will be considered on the basis of your academic ATAR/OP or equivalent, together with your Statement of Results sheet. To determine if your ATAR/OP or equivalent score is satisfactory for direct entry into your nominated course.

Avondale is not linked with UAC and therefore you will need to forward copies of these documents directly to us.

International Students

Citizens from countries outside of Australia can check Avondale Admissions to Higher Education Undergraduate Courses policy for minimum academic entry requirements and English Language requirements.
