Avondale Heritage Centre
Heritage and Special Collections
The Heritage Collection was begun in 1974 with the intention of collecting material which records the origins, progress and activities of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Australia, New Zealand and the South Pacific.
This collection includes:
||church records/bulletins, letters, reports, minutes, biographies, stories, paper clippings, sermon notes/research, etc.
||home movies, evangelistic and mission, short features, etc.
||buildings, events, places, people, etc.
||evangelistic, Bible, MV, Pathfinders etc.
||books, pamphlets and serials which are listed in the Avondale College Library Catalogue.
|Models and artifacts:
||clothing, gowns, buildings, projectors, nails, tiles etc.
||college and division productions.
The Special Collection, also housed in the Hon Heritage Room, was established to collect materials considered to be historically significant but not related to the Seventh-day Adventist Church in the South Pacific
. It mainly includes books which are listed in the Avondale College Library Catalogue.
