Located besides the Cafeteria is the Avondale bookshop.
It can quickly become one of the students' favourite meeting spots or browsing locations. It does carry all the textbooks and stationery necessary for your stay at Avondale, and also offers a range of gifts, cards and other items of interest including personal care products and snack foods.

The Bookshop will try to meet all student resource needs and is able to obtain computer hardware and software at very competitive prices, complete with the normal support and warranty services. Special 'academic' prices are available to students on some specific software packages. The friendly staff can always organize a quotation on request.

For the keen photographer, amateur or professional, full Kodak photographic services are available, with a daily pick up and delivery arrangement.

When you're rushing to class without breakfast, or find that a lunch break is out of the question, you can always depend on a drink, a hot take-away, or a snack at the Bookshop.

So, be sure to call in soon after you arrive and become familiar with the many different items on sale there, or even just to say 'hello' to the obliging and very helpful staff.
