How to Apply for US Financial Aid

To apply for US FInancial Aid, please follow the following steps:

Step 1: Complete your offer to study at Avondale College.

Step 2: Complete a Free Application for Federal School Aid (FAFSA) through www.fafsa.ed.gov. The Avondale College Federal School code is G35903.

To submit the FAFSA electronically you are required to obtain a Federal Student Aid PIN. To apply for a PIN visit www.PIN.ed.gov. Avondale College recommends that you complete the FAFSA when you apply for admission to Avondale.

Please Note: If you are beginning a program between July 1, 2011 and June 30, 2012 you will need to complete the 2011-2012 FAFSA.

Step 3: Complete Direct Loan Entrance Counselling. This can be done through the www.studentloans.gov website. Confirmation that you have completed this counselling will be sent to Avondale College.

Step 4: Complete an Avondale College US Financial Aid Application Form (Click here). Return this form to the Financial Aid Officer by email or fax.

Step 5: Complete your Direct Loan Master Promissory Note (MPN) on line through www.studentloans.gov. You can find the electronic MPN under the 'Manage my Direct Loan' section of the website.

As we are a foreign institution, you will be required to complete a new MPN for every year that you receive loans.
