GRADES ALLOCATED IN HIGHER EDUCATION COURSEWORK GRADED UNITS


HD = 85 - 100 High Distinction
D = 75 - 84 Distinction
C = 65 - 74 Credit
P = 50 - 64 Pass
PT = 45 - 49 Pass Terminating
PC = 45 - 49 Pass Conceded
PS = 50 - 64 Pass with Supplementary Assessment
FS = 45 - 49 Fail, Supplementary Assessment Available
F = 0 - 49 Fail
FF = 0 - 49 Failed Unit and Supplementary Assessment

Note: * indicates the grade is in the upper half of the percentage range (eg P* = 58 - 64)

Students are expected to achieve grades of Pass or better for units to be counted towards an award although PT, PC and PS grades may be counted in line with the Assessment Policy.

S = Satisfactory
U = Unsatisfactory
AD = Audit
IC = Incomplete
DE = Deferred Examination
W = Withdrawal without Penalty
WL = Withdrawal Late without Academic Penalty
FW = Fail Due to Late Withdrawal

is calculated on a scale of 0-7.
