Accreditation



Courses of study at Avondale are nationally accredited and are offered within the terms of the Australian Qualifications Framework.

Prior to the 1980s Avondale, as a private institution of higher education, arranged for accreditation of its courses primarily through affiliation with recognised accredited Adventist institutions overseas.

Currently, undergraduate and postgraduate programs are accredited by the NSW Department of Education and Training. Vocational studies programs are accredited by the NSW Vocational Education and Training Accreditation Board (VETAB). Avondale is a Registered Training Organisation (RTO).

Avondale is a registered, approved provider of higher education courses and is listed on the Commonwealth Register of Institutions and Courses for Overseas Students (CRICOS) Registration No 02731D

Professional courses in business and nursing are recognised by the appropriate registration organisations.

Avondale is also accredited as an Adventist Institution of Higher Education by the Adventist Accreditation Association based in Washington DC.
