Project Board
The Project Board is responsible for the overall direction and management of the project, approves all major plans and authorises any major deviation from the agreed Stage Plans.
John Cox - Project Executive
Vivienne Watts - Senior User
Vivienne Watts works to make sure that progress towards the outcome of Project Connect remains consistent from the user's perspective. She resolves user requirement and priority conflicts, and evaluates the potential change from the user point of view.
Francois Keet - Quality Assurance
Francois Keet provides assurance by ensuring that the process for managing risks and quality is understood. He reviews project documentation and quality assurance checklists for completeness, and assists in defining the level of review required for the project. Francois also provides external quality reviews of project team activities.
Mike Estcourt - Senior Supplier
Mike is responsible for all Callista Consultants working on Project Connect. He assigns Callista resources as required and requested, provides the Project Manager (Rose Howson) with a monthly report of activities and is an active member of the implementation and project management team. As a member of the project board, Mike also makes sure that progress remains consistent and ensures the resolution of any supplier priority or resource conflicts.
David Heise - External Member
David acts as an external IT expert who can advise the project board on matters of technology. He adds value in that he was the original designer/builder of the current Student Record System (SRS).
Simon Short - Senior Information Technologist
As the senior information technologist, Simon Short works to ensure that Project Connect adheres to all Avondale IT standards, that IT requirements of the Project are met both from an infrastructure and staff skill perspective, and that IT support requirements for Callista are in place when the new system goes live.
