How to find Journals

• Select the Journal button from the Basic Search Screen
• The search function enables you to find records by entering keywords or phrases.
• Enter keyword or phrase or subject.
• Select title, or author, or subject or call number begins with etc from the drop down menu, then click on go.
• This will open a browse list. From this list click on the item closest to the search term.
• This opens up the record for that item and also displays the location.

• From the dropdown menu select a subject category.


• Click on the search button.


• This will open the Subject Heading page. Note the number in brackets beside each subject heading indicates the number of journals available for each subject heading.


• Select and click on a subject heading.


• This page displays the journals available together with the full text options.


• Select the apropriate full text option to search the journal for required information.
