RKM is part of a team of 6 who were appointed by the Council of Deans of theology to the formulate the grant application and manage the research grant.
2008: $25,000 [out of total grant of $100,000]; Australian Learning and Teaching Council: Funds to underwrite a discipline-based scoping exercise "Uncovering Theology: The Depth, Reach and Utility of Australian Theological Education," and to underwrite the costs of publishing a book of that name by Charles Sherlock, the project manager. RKM was part of a team of four appointed by the Council of Deans of theology to formulate the grant application and manage the research grant.

|About:||Robert McIver began his professional career as a teacher of mathematics in a state high school in Christchurch, New Zealand. Since then, he has been a student, a church pastor and is now a senior lecturer in biblical studies and head of the School of Ministry and Theology at Avondale College of Higher Education, where he has taught since 1988. Among his other roles, Robert is editor of Avondale Academic Press, a husband and a father of two daughters. He has wide research interests and has published in scholarly journals as diverse as New Testament Studies and The Monash Bioethics Review, as well as more popularly oriented journals such as Signs of the Times and Adventist Review. Robert's goal in the classroom is to communicate the excitement of seriously studying the Bible.
