Step 3 - Enrol in your Units
An Enrolment Guide has been prepared to help you through your enrolment steps. Please refer to it as you work through each step of online enrolment.
To enrol, log into Student Connect (don't know what Student Connect is? click here for information) by using the Username and Password that you should have received in a text message sent to your mobile phone within 5 minutes of accepting your course offer. If you have forgotten or misplaced your Username and Password, or believe you didn't receive them, contact IT Services by phoning 02 4980 2111.
In Student Connect select “Self Enrolment” in the left hand menu below “Enrolment Details.” Continue to complete each step until you submit your declaration at the end. In step 8, please ensure you confirm your units of study by ticking the selected units, adding them to the cart and then proceeding to checkout then clicking 'Submit'. IMPORTANT – You MUST PROCEED TO THE CHECKOUT to successfully complete this task in step 8 of online enrolment.
If you have questions about which units to enrol in go back to step 2 in Getting Started. While you are encouraged to enrol in your units as soon as possible, if you are an on-campus student there will be opportunity to meet with your course convenor for academic advice during Orientation if necessary.
You will automatically be enrolled in AIM – the Academic Integrity Module, a compulsory unit which you are required to complete before the commencement of your first assignment. This unit, which has no tuition fee or academic credit, gives you essential information about academic integrity, avoiding plagiarism and referencing. These skills are essential to your success. Other optional information includes using the library and researching information for assignments. It will be available on Moodle as soon as you complete your enrolment. You are advised to complete this compulsory unit as soon as possible to enhance your skills before you commence assessment tasks in the first semester of your course. You will not be able to enrol in the following semester until it is completed.
