Religious Life

Worship is integral to every-day life at Avondale College, and a number of different worship events provide students with oppurtunities for building and enriching a relationship with God. These include Saturday services, Forums, 7.28, and Residence Hall worships.

The College Church has details of worship services available for other denominations.

Forum/Assembly



Attendance at Forum is designed to assist staff and students keep life in focus, build a sense of community, and gain a clearer vision of world needs. Forum commences at 10:00am each Wednesday as indicated in the Monthly Minder diary. Students are required to attend a certain number of Forums per semester. Details are provided at orientation.

7:28



7:28 is a program held each Friday evening at 7:28pm that incorporates music, prayer, praise, and devotional presentations by students, staff, or guest speakers. 7.28 is held in the main Church building.

Regen



Regen is a contemporary program held in the Education Hall and commences at 10.00am.

Sabbath School



Sabbath School is a program especially designed for Bible study and commences at 9:30am on Saturday morning. Study groups meet in the Church and various venues on campus.

Church Service



The weekly Church service, commencing at 11:00am on Saturday morning, is designed for all ages and offers a variety of worship styles to ensure this special time is unique and memorable.

Residence Hall Worships



Evening worships are held in Residence Halls on Monday and Wednesday evenings, and are combined in the Church on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday evenings.
