Cross-cultural Mission Project For Theology Students
The Passion to Transform Lives
Brief Description:
Many of our faculty members have experienced cross-cultural mission, and we are convinced that such an experience would have an enormous impact not only on the lives of our students, but also on those they work with.
Funding would allow us to sponsor 4-6 students per year to engage in a cross-cultural ministry experience for a period of 3 to 4 weeks, with financial help covering flights, living expenses etc.
Potential Impact on the College:
It is anticipated that this type of mission experience would have an enormous impact on the life of the student, substantially raise the profile of mission on campus, and particularly impact theology students.

$15,000
Person and Faculty Responsible:
While the Dean of the Faculty of Theology, Ray Roennfeldt, would oversee this project, personnel and other decisions would be managed by the Faculty as a whole. .
Passion:
This project has the potential to change the lives of students and to widen the impact of Avondale's mission, in which there would be a particular focus on areas the Church is vigorously engaged in.
