Douglas Eliot Church Planting/Ministry Memorial Prize
Awarded to recognise outstanding performance of a ministry and theology student and for demonstrating ministry potential in church planting.

Edna and Vern Heise Memorial Fund
Established in 2007 by the Heise family to honour the life and work of Avondale University alumni Edna (1922-2006) Heise and Vern (1921-2014) Heise, in memory of their outstanding support of women in ministry and Christian communication through preaching, writing and speaking.
Edna and Vern Heise Prize for Excellence in Communication
Awarded to a female ministry and theology student for demonstrating excellent communication skills.

Arthur Ferch Prize for Greek Studies
Arthur Ferch Prize for Hebrew Studies
Established in 2013 (Greek) and 2000 (Hebrew) to commemorate former Avondale Seminarian Dr Arthur Ferch’s appreciation for Scripture by encouraging ministry and theology students to develop a love for the text in its original languages.

Graham Miller Memorial Fund
Established in 1976 by Zita Miller to honour husband and Avondale University alumnus Pr Graham Miller’s (1926-1976) contribution to Seventh-day Adventist young adult ministry in the South Pacific.
Graham Miller Memorial Prize for Youth Ministry
Awarded to a fourth-year ministry and theology student for demonstrating an aptitude for youth ministry and a keen interest in soul winning.
