Residence Halls - Sydney
An Application Fee is payable as part of the application process together with lodgement of a completed Application Form. The Application Fee covers both a Room Bond and an advance payment toward accommodation. Full payment of this Fee is required before an Application will be processed. Details on Fees and Semester Rates are available on the Sydney Adventist Hospital website. Students are liable for the full Student Semester Rate regardless of the check-in or departure date. Email: [email protected]Residents who fall behind in their accommodation payments will be subject to the consequences of Financial policies set out by both Avondale University and the SAH Residence.
The Student Semester Rate covers accommodation costs of a single bedroom together with full use of the shared and common facilities. Meals and other provisions are the personal responsibility of the resident.
During the first semester of occupancy payment of the Student Semester Rate is paid in three (3) instalments, where the full amount is not paid up-front. The table below shows the instalment scheduled dates and amounts:

For all residential semesters following the semester in which check-in occurs, the Student Semester Rate can be paid off on a weekly or fortnightly schedule with the first payment due on 1 January for Semester 1 or 1 July for Semester 2. To calculate the weekly or fortnightly amount, refer to the calculation example below:
