Academic Writing Help:
Tutoring is available for both on-campus and off-campus/distance education students. Lake Macquarie Campus students can obtain help in the Dyson-Williams Study Room on the upper level of the Library. Off-campus and on-campus students can Schedule an Appointment via the Library booking system, or submit requests via email. There are three tutors who are able to help students with all stages of their assignments. This includes helping the student to decipher an assignment topic and come up with an approach to the topic, and to locate appropriate resources. Help is also offered with referencing issues and tutors will also look over an assignment draft and comment on its structure/focus/referencing/expression/etc., and suggest how the student might resolve any problems. Tutors are also there to support any academic problem, to help resolve the problem. If the tutors cannot assist they can suggest someone who can. If the office is unattended, please leave your assignments in the boxes provided. For further information on Tutor Services look here, Tutor Service processes, Online assignment review process
