Avondale’s Early Entry Scholarship has been established to award High School final year students across Australia who are eligible for Early Admission and enrol in one of Avondale’s undergraduate courses directly via Applicant Portal. The scholarship will be granted to the first 60 students who take up the offer and enrol at Avondale University.
Eligibility
- The scholarship is available to Australian Year 12 students eligible for an ATAR in the current
year only.
- The recipient must have fulfilled the Early Admission requirements (Year 11 grades 70% or ‘B’ grade average and submission of High School endorsement by Principal/Head of Secondary).
- Outdoor Leadership Vocational Education and Training (VET) courses are not included.
- Relevant course entry requirements must be satisfied before a course offer can be given.
- Initial priority will be given to students who achieved 75% or B+ average across all Year 11 subjects.
- The recipient must be enrolled in a study load of at least 18 credit points (3 units) per semester.
Any approved cross-institutional study will be included when determining a student’s study load for each semester.
- The scholarship cannot be deferred.
- The recipient can study on-campus or by distance.
- Applicants need to provide a school photo that can be used for promotional purposes.
- All recipients should be of good standing in the community. Scholarships or part thereof may be
revoked at the discretion of the Discipline Committee, where the recipient brings the name of Avondale into disrepute.
Scholarship Process
The first 60 Australian students currently studying Year 12 that apply directly to Avondale University, fulfill the conditions, are accepted into their course, and are enrolled in 3 units or more in any undergraduate course at census are awarded one of the $2000 scholarships.
Value
The scholarship will be worth $2000 awarded after census date.
NOTE: This scholarship is not transferable to any other student.
