Research:Ongoing research interests are in school learning environments, perception/opinion rating surveys using quantitative and qualitative data, gender Issues in mathematics education, international student issues in the classroom, streaming in secondary schools, mathematics students and teachers' beliefs and attitudes.

Current projects include: teacher stress, pre-service teacher perceptions of their strengths, school choice, Institutional Learning Thresholds
