Our beautiful campuses

Students love the green, natural environment of our beautiful Lake Macquarie campus (located between the Central Coast and Newcastle) and the state-of-the-art health facilities of our campus at Sydney Adventist Hospital on the North Shore.

We are offering free accommodation on the Lake Macquarie campus in 2024. Places are limited and terms and conditions apply.

Your first week

Orientation will help you make a smooth and successful transition to your study program. You will meet your lecturers and the professional staff who will support you, discover how to get work on campus and take a tour of campus.

You will meet other students while enjoying a free pizza lunch and big breakfast, live music, mixed sports and other social activities such as a moonlight movie, a pool party and speed friending.

Your social life

The Avondale experience is about more than just attending classes in productive spaces.

Share life with new friends at Variety Hour, as part of a team in one of our sporting leagues, in our inspiring worship programs or on a service-learning trip. If you are new to Avondale, you will also join our free wellbeing program that will lift your life.

Terms and Conditions

1. Only students new to Avondale in Semester 1, 2025 and studying an undergraduate degree.
2. Places are limited and are on the basis of whoever first accepts an offer (this comes first) then applies for accommodation and accommodation availability.
3. Students will be expected to study full-time (at least three units of study per semester).
4. This offer applies for the first three semesters of study if students maintain good academic standing by passing at least half of the units in which they are enrolled in the previous semester to continue receiving free accommodation in semesters two and three.
5. Students need to maintain good academic progress and attend classes face-to-face.
6. Students may be placed in room-share.
7. A refundable bond is payable on entry into the dormitories.
8. Students must purchase a meal plan.
9. Offer is available to eligible Australian and New Zealand students.
